Knock It Off: HGTV Style

Today’s Knock it Off features a room that epitomizes the kind of effortless and relaxed style we so appreciate at LookNook. Bright but subtle, dramatic but mellow, tasteful but quirky, this room is the Spatial Equivalent of Jennifer Aniston’s Hair in that it’s polished and elegant without being uptight, and best of all, it’s achievable. All you need are a few solid anchor pieces to lay the groundwork for this look.

This room is anchored by a sofa in a dramatic, but not over the top color and clean mid-century lines. The geometric rug from West Elm provides just the right amount of visual interest at a price point that is doable. Throw in some ethnic textile accessories, brass accents, and crisp white storage and you’ve got yourself some Midcentury-Boho-Regency-Chic goodness. We especially love the ‘bouquet’ of arrows on the mantle-so unexpected, so perfect.

So inspired were we by this room, that we replicated it for LookNook. If you need this look, and you need it now, have a look at our knock off. The room is a spot on homage to the care-free cultivation of cool. Well done, Holly, and super-ninja-kick-cool-beans, Emily Henderson, we dig your style.
